Not a straight line.
Jimmy didn’t take the straight road. He failed out of college twice, then went to work fixing computers and building the first IT department at a Missouri real estate firm.
At Jack Henry & Associates he started as a technical trainer and earned nine promotions over thirteen years, ending as a business intelligence engineering manager who built the company’s first data science division. Along the way he went back to school and finished a bachelor’s in IT, a master’s in data science from the University of Missouri with a 3.95 GPA, and an MBA.
Then came the AI years. He founded the OpenAI practice at 3Cloud, then served as Vice President of AI Strategy and Services at Quisitive, leading a Microsoft AI consulting practice for Fortune 1000 clients and delivering more AI Design Labs than any other Microsoft partner.
Today he runs Speed To Insights, is co-founder and EVP of AI Strategy at StratIQ, teaches free AI classes to people rebuilding their careers, and writes a weekly newsletter called AI Thoughts From My Run, because that’s where the ideas show up.
His rule: AI should amplify human potential, not replace human judgment.
The road here.
